Scott Mitchell is the man behind the bear and has been shooting weddings for over five years now. His expertise and keen eye allow him to capture natural, artistic shots combined with the raw emotion of your special day.
Scott will capture the mood and essence of your special day by creating a 5-10 minute long film set to songs of your choosing. The film will highlight the most memorable moments of your wedding day and include excerpts from your ceremony and speeches. All footage is filmed in High Definition and will be presented to you online, followed by the gifting of a Big bear presentation box, designed to enhance your viewing experience.
If your preference lies with the Big Bear Photography package, you will receive a beautiful set of candid stills to view both online and delivered to you in a Big Bear presentation box.
For Video, General turn around for online viewing is 150 days or so due to loads of love and attention!
Photos we will have them returned back within 30 days.
A 50% deposit is required in order to save your special date and secure your booking
Final payment due Two Weeks before the official wedding day.

Big Bear Wedding Photography

- teaser video - $350 the Teaser video is 1 minute in duration and is edited to a song of your choosing (turn around is roughly 2 weeks).
- Ceremony (raw footage) - $350 your entire ceremony will be recorded on a stationary camera and presented to you on usb unedited.
- letter reading - $100 the bride & groom will be asked to prepare letters for each other prior to the wedding, the reading of these letters will be filmed before the wedding and presented back to you on usb.
- additional hours - $150p/h it is common for weddings to run overtime, additional fees will be charged for each hour the videographer is required
- royalty free music - $35, music used in big bear films is not licensed and isn’t recommended for public sharing, but use
- second videographer / photographer - 4 hours = $350 / 6 hours = $500, for baby bear & little bear packages a second videographer / photographer can be hired at your request

Please note: Big Bear Films does not offer both Photography & Videography packages for the same wedding. Unfortunately, as Scott operates on his own, it is not possible for him to capture video and stills to the high quality and standards that he expects of himself and his brand. The Baby Bear, Little Bear & Big Bear packages are strictly for video coverage only. If you are looking to have both Video & Photo coverage at your wedding, Scott can happily recommend a few Photographers who he works closely with.
